Art has always been a part of my life. As a child I loved to draw, and paint. I am inspired by the beauty of Nature, the Ancient Peoples of the Southwest and the Orient. I pursued my love for art at the University of Wisconsin and in Santa Fe New Mexico studying with Master Printmaker Ron Pokrasso. I also was deeply influenced by Sensei Yamamoto, a 100 year old Japanese Artist with whom I worked. My art has been described as abstract and impressionistic, modern yet somehow ancient.
